SOA Varsity Prof Bihari gets RP Das Award
Bhubaneswar: SOA University’s Bio-fuel and Bio-processing Research Centre (BBRC) Director Prof Lala Bihari Sukla was honoured with the RP Das Memorial Award in Hydrometallurgical Engineering by the Indian Institute of Metals, Bhubaneswar Chapter on Friday. The honour was bestowed on Prof Sukla for his dedicated work in the area of bio-mineral processing and hydrometallurgy. Indian Oil Corporation Ltd SERPL Executive Director PC Choubey presented the award to Prof Sukla in presence of CSIR-IMMT Director Prof Suddhasatwa Basu.

Bhubaneswar, July 27 (LocalWire): The director of Bio-fuel and Bioprocessing Research Centre (BBRC) at the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) University Prof Lala Bihari Sukla has been conferred the RP Das Memorial Award by the Indian Institute of Metals, Bhubaneswar Chapter, on Friday.
The honour was bestowed on Prof. Sukla for his dedicated work in the area of bio-mineral processing and hydrometallurgy.
The award was presented by Indian Oil Corporation (SERPL) executive director PC Choubey at the annual general body meeting of the Institute held at the CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (IMMT) in Bhubaneswar.
CSIR-IMMT director Prof Suddhasatwa Basu was also present during the occasion.
